We were privileged in early August 2015 to talk with Dr. Wahdae-mai Harmon, an obstetrician and gynecologist from Monrovia, Liberia. She is a 2015 recipient of the Mandela Washington Fellowship through President Obama's Young African Leaders Initiative. She took part in an intensive academic and leadership institute at the University of Minnesota during the summer of 2015 as part of her fellowship. Here she explains her efforts promoting women's health in Africa.
