Speaking from the American Society of Hematology (ASH) 2017 Annual Meeting and Exposition in Atlanta, GA, Francesco Lo-Coco, MD, of University Tor Vergata, Rome, Italy, proposes new initiatives that aim to create a better photograph of whats happening in real life in patients with acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL). He explains his idea of a common European case report form (CRF), which would capture the events that occur between the first symptoms of APL to death.
