James R. Jett, MD is on the faculty at National Jewish Health in Denver, where he sees cancer patients and conducts clinical research trials related to screening and the early detection of lung cancer. Dr. Jett received his MD at the University of Missouri. He has held appointments as Professor of Medicine at Mayo Medical School and the University of Pittsburgh, and has served as a consultant for the National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Jett is Editor in Chief of the Journal of Thoracic Oncology. Previously he has served on the editorial board for other major medical journals including Chest, Respiratory Medicine, and American Journal of Respiratory & Critical Care Medicine.
